Johnny Puryear

Johnny Puryear is the founder and president of Hope’s Anchor Christian Counseling and Mediation, formerly A New Perspective Christian Counseling and Mediation. Johnny has more than 40 years of experience in church and counseling ministry. Hope’s Anchor now has a team of four counselors who have their own expertise and specialties. We provide affordable, biblically based counseling for individuals, couples and families. Covering areas such as marriages, premarital relationships, blended families, youth and children, and grief counseling. Our ministry also offers free seminars to churches, businesses and other civic organizations per request.

As a certified general and family mediator, Johnny helps families, churches, businesses, and organizations communicate, negotiate, and resolve conflicts where both parties are satisfied.
